My story

Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting.  I grew up in the town of Lakewood, CA which is right outside of Long Beach.  When I got older I decided to move to Salt Lake City, Utah and that is where I started my journey into the world of irrigation. All I had to do was trade my surfboard for a snowboard.  After getting 2 years of experience in the business I was chosen to lead the installation crew and run all of the jobs.  I also did a large amount of irrigation repair for the company that allowed me to learn all of the troubleshooting that can occur when dealing with an irrigation issue.  Utah was a prime candidate for dripline and micro irrigation due to the hot and dry summer climate.  I have been using low water drip and micro emitters since the beginning of my career and have continued to educate myself on proper techniques and have improved my designs to maximize coverage while limiting waste. After over a decade and a half I decided to move back to California to be closer to my family.  I chose San Diego as my landing spot as a result of connecting with my beautiful wife Jenni.  We currently reside in North County San Diego in the city of Escondido.  I got the opportunity to work for a high end landscape company in Escondido and started an irrigation division at the company.  My goal was to create a complete irrigation service and monitoring division that took into account all aspects of irrigation.  This involved efficient application with complete coverage using the best components available in the market.  I tested all new products in the field and always stayed on top of industry improvements.  With the introduction of WiFi based controllers and weather reactive products, irrigation systems have come a long way since I started in the industry over 22 years ago.  New irrigation systems are dependant upon the proper design to allow for correct coverage and efficiency around the landscape. Water wasted is money wasted, so getting the proper design is crucial.  My division did a lot of renovations of existing irrigation systems which can be a challenging task that takes thoughtful consideration of the area to execute correctly.  I've taken great pride in taking old irrigation systems and making them new, thus saving water and improving plant health by attaining proper coverage.  The division of the company rapidly added landscape lighting as a specialty.  Most of the work turned out to be troubleshooting existing lighting systems so I quickly learned all of the issues that arise.  I converted lighting systems to LED in order to lower operating costs and extend the life of the bulbs in all of the lighting fixtures.  Lighting has come a long way in the 6 years that I have been working on them.  New landscape lighting installations are all about proper design and choosing the correct fixture for different situations.  I have attained certifications in water management, system audits, irrigation tech, irrigation and lighting product specialty, and irrigation and lighting design.  All of this allows me to offer the best in knowledge and service in the industry.  I decided that after over 22 years that it was my time to start a company for myself.  With all of the knowledge that I've gained throughout the years I know that there is no situation that I can't handle.  No matter what the issue, situation or design, I can create something that will make your property shine.
